adrianmt75
I've got a sub box that doesn't work and I was hoping to use a voltmeter to identify the issue. I'm trying to configure my parameters and unit of measurements to adequately troubleshoot. I plan to check resistance and continuity at the box level. What parameter should I check at the speaker outputs and wires? What parameter should I check at the RCA's cables, inputs and outputs? I plan to check my deck configurations, wiring etc tonight. FYI, My Amp turns on and all status lights are OK. Any assistance is appreciated. Thanks in Advance.
DJ Joey Unity
EASY SPEAKER CHECK: take a 9 volt battery, tape 2 wires too the it, take the wires and place them on the terminals of the speaker, if you hear a static type noise your speaker is good.
