You make the choice....

Well, Last night was fun until my buddy decided to get behind the wheel at 5 a.m after drinking way to much. When he was on his way back only 2 blocks from his house he flipped his car and hit a tree and the car blew up. He just graduated from high school last week and had so many good things going for him, and always had a smile on his face. Its really going to be hard to get over this because the accident happened only a few blocks from my house, so every day when I drive by that spot were this happened I will always think of him. Its hard writing this but it feels better to talk about it. I know everyone has heard this over and over but please don't drink and drive.

Sorry to hear about your loss; and you are very right to point out that every moment we are making our own life choices. We all want or expect good outcomes, but all we have the power to do is make good decisions.

I'm right there with ya on that message man...I helped to bury my best friend from high school a week after graduation after he decided to get behind the wheel the nite of the after grad party and a LOT of drinking. He wrapped his dad's mustang convertible around a tree at 100+....be safe out there guys, these types of tragedies are proof positive of our own mortality and despite the fact that I deeply mourned his loss, I thank god that he didn't kill any innocent people! DON'T DRIVE DRUNK!!!

sorry to hear about that dude!!! I'm a Policeman and I see these kinds of accidents all the time, and I could not stress enough the dangers of drinking and then getting behind the wheel. Stay strong my brother!!

Thanks for your guy's support. This has been a long depressing day. I still can't except the fact that he is gone. Then I look at his parents point of view of losing a child, I couldnt even imagine how it feels.

Thanks again.
