standby
My 4yr old son is VERY, VERY allergic to peanuts. Doctor said if he ever ingests any thing with peanuts to give epi-pen (epinephrine injection), Benadryl and get to Emergency room immediately. Yesterday he and my 7 year old daughter were at basketball camp, daughter noticed son sitting with another boy eating crackers, went to check and they were peanut butter crackers Long story, short...I had to take my son to the emergency room with quickness! The VHO did not let me down. Mother-in-law called local PD to request an escort, dispatch said no one patrolling at that time, "have at it!" Yes, I did. Wife is an RN and was working last night, she alerted emergency room. I was there before they could get ready (normally 17 minute drive). For all those folks that wonder "why do you want a fast TRUCK?" Some of us have to haul stuff and this is the most important occasion imagineable to have to haul ass too! Boy is OK, him and mom are still at hospital. He should be home this afternoon. I LOVE MY TRUCK!
Ron's SS
Standby: Sounds like the best reason I have heard for owning a fast truck. Glad to hear your son is alright. Off the topic question: how do you like the xlerator muffler, and what model do you have? I had them on my GTP and they sounded really good, but a little raspy at high RPM, any difference with these big motors? Thanks for the input... Thanks for the input... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I believe the model is X144 dual in/dual out. Love the sound (and "lack of" sound at highway speeds). Seemed to be the perfect setup for me, couldn't ask for anything else. I've tried to sing the praises of this muffler on here before, but no one was interested. It isn't Magnaflow, Corsa, Gibson, Flowmaster, etc. tawss04-yeah we call my duaghter "little momma", she is very protective of little brother and really pays attention to what he is up to. Downside for him is, she really pays attention to what he is up to.
