DooSPX
I know I dont have a SS (I wish) but I have a 04 5.3L that runs very strong for being stock. it ran a 15.50 @ 86 on a bad 60' anyway- I am wanting to buy a Aero Chamber muffler in place of the single in/out stock muffler. I am looking for a very low deep rumble, but dont want any drone while crusing at any speed. its a DD and like to listen to music on low volume some times. I dont have the $ for a Corsa (but I would love to have one) I guess I am asking what can I do with the Aero Chamber to make it not have any noticable drone? what location for the muffler on the stock pipe? please help, thanks in advance btw, you all have some great looking trucks... congrads
fox_forma
From what I have heard the hooker mufflers arent to bad with the drone. The further away from the cab the better I'm guess with the noise inside the cab.
383ss
I plan on putting on dual 3" in/out Hooker Aero Chambers on my SSS when I get around to it. they flow very well and aren't too loud. should be some hp and sound improvement over stock. I plan to put an X-pipe somewhere before them also.
