6.0ss Posted June 28, 2005 Report Share Posted June 28, 2005 Ok you all heard that I fried my alt. well the guy replaced it with a brand new one for me, but I need to go with a bigger one, SOOO Im selling this one! It is a factory drop in that does 78 amps at idle and 225 amps peak compared to the factory that does 45 at idle and 110 peak. It is big and has a built in cooling fan, but it bolts right up to the factory. You will need to run a 4awg wire from the alternator to the battery to take advantage of the 100% more power than our factory ones give you. I paid 420$ for this thing..
