Looks great mwalls54 maybe some time latter this year I can put a new system on mine. I think that I am going to wait till I have the money to do a headers back system. With ASM headers flowmaster delta flow stainless steal mufflers and corsa tips out both rear corners. But it is tempting to wait until after I have the money for a SC.

That's what I'm saying. Everything evolves around that. I'm having a hard time sitting on my hands waiting to buy the s-chgr. It's just me trying to hold out for the "optimal" time. Don't know when that is, but not too far way. For sure, before the end of the year. Could be a X-mas present to myself. :D

how much louder is the 50 series than stock? is it pretty noticable? i was thinking about getting two 40 series two chambers and mounting side by side so i could keep the stock 2 1/2" y pipe to the tail pipe.

WHAT ABOUT HORSEPOWER GAIN FROM THE 530513?

The only way to find out is to bench test you exhaust. Measure the amount of airflow out of the cats with the exhaust cut off, then measure the amount of flow with the muffler installed. Whichever muffler, stock or 50 series flowmaster has the closest flow to the non-muffled exhaust flow that will produce the most hp. By just changing the stock muffler don’t expect too much if ANY HP to your truck. Sound is really all your gonna get. (the stock muffler flows pretty good already)Adding headers on the other hand should get you around 10 more HP.

The change in powerful sound alone is about 50 Horse Power. That's why they call 'em 50s series.

There is some resonance. Oh well. Not as bad that vette had with some of the aftermarket mufflers.
