cre8vtung
Well it finally happened. My first major scratch. I have had a couple very tiny scratches in almost the same spot (1/4 inch long) over the last coulpe months. There is a guy at work that I have told a couple times that he better not touch my truck with his car (he drinks before, during and after work) I started asking him if he would stop parking beside me because he squeezes in from behind and had almost hit me one day at lunch. Well this morning I had just shut the truck off when I feel it jolt and when I look in the mirror he is trying to squeeze in beside me again. I get out of the trunk and walk around behind to look at the bumper and he says "don't worry I just barely touched it". There is now a deep scratch about two inches long not a half inch from the others. I simply take my buck knife out of the holster, open it up and stab it into the middle of his hood. I then ask him if he would like to step out of the car and wait for the police or move his car to the other end of the parking lot for good. I see this **** every day so he won't be coming back. He never realized that in a private parking lot I couldn't have called the cops anyway, but he was so worried about his drinking that he just moved and then bitched to anybody that would listen about that crazy biker with the blue truck. My truck isn't looking any better for it but for just one minute, one more **** got woke up.
blackhawk
Man I hate parking lots; I always park out in BFE and just walk. And when I come back out to my truck there is still people parked right new to it. No door dings yet, but it will happen it always does. That sucks to here about your scratch on the bumper, are you going to have the guy pay to get it fixed?
dcairns
I simply take my buck knife out of the holster, open it up and stab it into the middle of his hood. Uhh.... take it easy there ...no need to go around stabbing things, it is just a truck, it can be repaired.

Lee
cre8, Sorry to hear that, buddy. I know how you feel. I always inconvenience myself and park at the end of a parking lot where nobody parks and walk to the store or business.

cre8vtung
Lee, I do park out in the boonies and walk, in fact I park between a light pole and the fence so they only have one side they can get at. That's how he ran into me,he drinks at the back of the lot before, during, and after work and tries to get in between a couple of larger vehicles hoping plant security doesn't see him. He made one other mistake yesterday. Right after the confrontation between he and I he went into the security office and reported that somebody damaged his car while he was working (hoping to collect from the insurance). While the guard was talking to him he smelled liquor on him and called his supervisor who stopped his time and gave him thirty days off. This is not the first time he has been in trouble for drinking or having accidents due to drinking at work. Somedays I guess some people should just stay in bed. Silvsteve
Sucks that in this economy people like that are working at all. I know hard workers without jobs.
Lee
Sucks that in this economy people like that are working at all. I know hard workers without jobs. I was just thinking the same thing, Steve. This is not the first time he has been in trouble for drinking or having accidents due to drinking at work. Maybe management will give him a "don't bother to come back" pink slip now and he'll leave an opening for those people just mentioned above who actually need the work and would do a good job. cre8vtung
Sorry guys, He is a union employee and went to his EAP (Employee Assistance Program) representative and said he needs help. As soon as he goes to one AA class he will be negotiated back to work. Now what this means to everybody else is that they will lose something in the upcoming contract negotiations in order to keep his drunk butt employed. As a former union rep I can tell you 95% of my time was spent keeping the same 5% of the people out of trouble.

Do you ever notice sometimes that no matter how far away you are when you do this, when you come out somebody is next to you? Doesn't always happen, but.... ctrow
Found out today I have a dent from something on my front fender. I have no idea how it got there. I want to put about a thousand of these up but that would be annoying. I'm going to the body shop soon to see if they can hammer it out. Paints not scratched and it's not creased. The shop I'm going to does a lot of custom work and has had several cover shots on Truckin' magazine, etc. Their latest was the Mad-illac. Basically I trust that they will do a good job.
