Hankook or Toyos?

Looking to get some new tires. Looking at Hankook or Toyos. Leaning more toward Toyos. Both have stock size tires 275/55/20. But I also see they have 305/50/20. They are .1" higher but like "1 or 2" wider. Will these fit? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

I have the Hankook Ventus ST 295/50s on 20x8.5 GM wheels...luv them! They absolutely suck in the snow but in the rain they're excellent. They wear well (directional and can't be rotated) and corner amazingly. Mine's a little higher than yours because it's a VMax but I ran these on my dropped Tahoe with no rubbing or cutting, too.

Yes, the 305/50/20's will fit. I get some very minor rubbing on the rear of the driver's side fender well, but nothing to worry about. They Toyo Proxys do need to be run at what seems to be an unusually high pressure of 45 lbs, perhaps more, I am still experimenting. This does make the ride a bit rougher. But any lower in pressure, and they behave like under inflated tires, squealing, poor cornering.
