r8rs4lf Posted May 11, 2006 Report Share Posted May 11, 2006 Well, I finally got around to installing everything I bought from Dylan yesterday. Now I have some engine noise coming from somewhere. I can hear it more when I rev up the motor. I checked all of the grounds on the 4 channel amp used for the interior speakers, the bridged amp used for the subs, the brain for the Alpine HU and I still can't find it! :banghead:v :banghead:v :banghead:v The one thing I haven't checked is the ground behind the HU. According to the Alpine installation guide, the HU itself should have a yellow and black wire behind it. That would be the only thing I can think of that would cause all of this. Some other things I have back there are two interfaces, one for the steering wheel controls and another for the chimes, but I can't see how any of that would cause this problem.
