Aftermarket Differential Cover

Recommended Posts

After some serious towing, all of the paint started flaking off of my stock diff cover (heat). I only have about 5,000 miles on my 06 VHO, so I decided to go with an aftermarket aluminum diff cover. The new cover holds more fluid then the stocker and dissipates heat better.

These aluminum diff covers come in "As Cast", "Black Powder Coat", and "Polished". Not being a fan of bringing attention to a diff cover, I got the "As Cast" and painted it black.

Here are the 9.5", 14-Bolt covers.

Here are the 8.625", 10-Bolt covers. (without temp sensor boss)

Does that come with a magnetic drain plug? Where did you get it and how much? Whats it made out of?

Yes, it comes with a magnetic drain plug.

I got it from a guy local to me (in SoCal).

The one I got (14-bolt, as cast) is $175.

I don't know the prices on the others,

I can check if anyone is interested.
