That clip is part of a larger video by the guys at IMV Films ( www.imvfilms.com ).

Those guys filming are all good personal friends of mine...Jimmy (driver), Sav (passenger, camera #1), Rasa (back seat, camera #2), and Davian (the red haired guy).

They were hired by the Viper driver ( Jerry, aka "Torquenstein" ) to film his Gumball experience...sadly, it ended with that crash.

He was OK...a short hospital stay, then a transport out of the country and to the Gumball finish party...he was walking around with the rear bumper of the Viper as a "trophy"...hehe.

They don't have that DVD for sale YET...but it's coming.

Here's the original movie trailer:

Yeah, he was LUCKY.

He was doing ~120mph or so...the bumps in the road threw the rear end of the car up in the air once, and he started to slide...but countersteered and kept going another hundred feet...

Then he hit the big bump...countersteered LEFT to stay straight, hit another bump, the car changed direction in the air...and when it landed, it just went right where the wheels were pointed...off the road.

...

...and FWIW - It wasn't just a regular Viper...that was a Hennessey Venom 650R.

Ouch.
