timing chain strength?

I'm doing a cam change on an 06 LQ4. I'm only going to 400hp and 6200-6500 rpm. Will the stock timing chain be good enough for 200,000 miles, or what should I put in for a chain and/or gears? Also how hard is it on the motor hitting the rev. limiter? I'm also upgrading the valve springs and pushrods.

I would put a rollmaster double roller timing chain in for sure

The stock chain can hold up as many have well over what you want to do. Whether or not to do the chain is personal pref. If it gives you better piece of mind, then do it. They are not that expensive and fairly easy to install.

the stock internals are rated to about 500hp.

I prefer to beef things up if I have it apart already, I rearly ever put my stuff back to stock if i have it apart
