CaliChevyV8
Gonna be putting a system in, just deck, components and amp right now. I think I have decided on speakers and a deck. I have a really good hook up with JBL so I am going to stay with them for the speakers and probably the amp too. Speakers: JBL C608GTI JBL Speakers Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-9800BT Pioneer Head Unit Maybe this Amp?: JBL PX600.2 JBL Amp How do you think those would work together? I'm basically just trying to match a good amp with those speakers.
SS_bnoon_SS
For the money, I'd rather have MB Quart set, or even go with a middle of the line horn driver set. JBL mids/tweets have never sounded "right" to me. The JBL amps I like just fine, and the Pioneer decks are packed with fun features for an "all right" sounding deck. My saying: "If you paid retail, you got ripped off!" I don't like JBL enough that I would pay retail for something else though, or at least buy something at closeout somewhere online... JBL just doesn't sit well with my ears, but maybe that's just me.
CaliChevyV8
My main deal is that I don't like too much highs. I like a smooth clean sounding speaker. I previously had the infinity kappa perfects and they are too high. My brother has the diamond hex and his to me are too high. Not too many people where I live have been happy with their MB courts, although a good freind of mine loves the ones he used to have...anyyyway, I'm pretty set on the speakers after hearing them. If I don't like them I can only make money off of them...Thanks for the advice though bnoon
