CaboRob Posted June 30, 2006 Report Share Posted June 30, 2006 was at the dealer today...he's up to $3505.00 but the insurance nazi's recinded the entire paint...the are gonna sand and paint the hood,roof,driverside- fender -door rear door-bed...cladding might have to be replace,sand and paint pass side-fender-door,polish -rear door-side of bed and cladding might be replaced.replace plastic piece where wipers are,grill,brake ducts,both mirrors might be replaced,along with windshield, front bumper had a split by the pass side duct so ill be buying a new cover...gm#12335650...$325.00...and they'll paint that since it has to come off for painting.the only saving grace is that the body shop manager is cool and dont like Progressive insurance so if they burn through the clear or if there is any dings it'll be a full dip!!also the manager said i can have all the parts that come off and get replaced!! I know you said you have Progressive Insurance.....they can be Nazi's....actually, if you walk in most body shops and say Progressive, you would think you said a 4 letter word.....in this area, they are not very well liked!
