MozeSS523
After going throught all the options on a hand held tuner I ended up only changing shift firmness. Once the tuner was done rewriting the PCM the display on the truck flashed reduced power. Does anyone have any suggested Rev limit point, can and should i take off the govener? I am hesitant to change shift points since they should already be at the optimal RPMs. The only other mods I have done are a CAI and Corsa/touring. Please help. misterp
Conventional wisdom with stock LQ9 is 6000-RPM rev limit, 5800 1-2 shift, all other shiftpoints 5600... Mr. P.
MozeSS523
What are the stock shift points? I can only increase or decrease shift points in increments of 100 rpms. The display will just say "i.e. +100 or -100."
