We went to our local 1/8 track and smoked my other friends 94 intrega over and over again! I was a embarrassing sitefor the integra!!! Anyway, since then he has purchased an EDGE Programmer witch added a significant amount of Horses and gobs of torque....Then many moons later, I bought my diamond in the ruff! So i went to his pad to show him and he wasnt impressed No biggie to each there own i thought until he said "I'll smoke your...what is that a ZZZZMax? LOL" .......Today it went down!!!!!!!!!! 3 lights we went at it. 1st light i tried to power brake and smoked through first he was leading by his truck 1 out (four door long bed) and i tought it was over til i started to pull then we had to slow for the next red. I knew i had a chance because i was pulling in 2nd. 2nd light was much of the same no traction. 3rd light we went a full 1/4 and i did smoke tire while he launched out on me1 fulltruck . Then 2nd gear and i started to pull mid truck then 3rd brought me out and ahead...i pulled 1 1/2 trucks out before we slowed. Needlesss to say i handed his AZZ to him.........NICE! I do realize im much lighter but i think his HP and TQ even it out. Matter of fact ive heard diesel guys refer to them as frieght trains! Who frieght trained who?!!!!!!! Anyways I love the guy and his truck is pretty scary fast for how heavy it is! It trully is more truck then mine,towing and power wise....and he did give me props!!!! At least now V-Max is no longer the Z-Max to him he realized Its no joke! Later he told me he hooked bacause he had it in 4hi, I think we will do it again sometime in the future. He just put on a bullydog power pup has an air intake and monster magnaflow exhaust. I'll race anything but it looks like i might get my first L. I have a programmer exhaust CAI and all wheel drive. Those deisels scary me still.My truck only has a drop in k&n and my buddies truck is set up with a programer. Oh and its an 06 duramax,dont no if it differs from the 05. Anyway it will be close. I took my Bosses d-max down and had an exhaust,air intake,an a edge juice mod installed. Very impressive. I think i could hang with it. He dont want to try tho.
