victorredss
Does the temp. have anything to do with it? It was 92 degrees at 10:30 p.m.
ssfromsd
My fastest was like 15.5xx, just a K&N Tube, but back when i had my other HEAVY ass wheels on and 3/4 tank of gas on like a 90 Degree day out...
CaliChevyV8
I went to california speedway a few weeks ago. I have a 4x4 V-MAX with a volant, catback system, 160* stat and a PCM tune and I ran 3 15.6's in 110* weather. Had a half tank of gas. misterp
I hear ya about the heat At a minimum get a good PCM tune, that will help quite a bit. Mr. P.

Mr. P. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mr. P how much can you expect from a good mail order tune like PCMforless? .3 of your ET...or is that too optimistic? victorredss
I know this might sound dumb but what is a PCM tune and what does it do?
drako
your not dumb...your just a newbie. just to sum up for you pretty quickly a pcm retune is that you either send your tune via mail to a retune company ooooor you get a custom tune. now to get in to the details click the search button and type mail order tune or custom tune... Another popular albeit controversial tuner is Allen Nelson (Nelson Performance, San Antonio). You know who you might call (since you live in Odessa) is Texas Speed; they're on 62 just south of Lubbock; they might even dyno tune your truck right there... Mr. P.
