mlockwood Posted September 14, 2006 Report Share Posted September 14, 2006 i just took my truck to the dealer because when i turned the corner i would here a knocking sound so i thought it was the intermediat shaft but it ended up being the driver side fend right infront of the door. if you push on it with your fist you can here it pop. any ideas what it is and how to fix it? oh by the way its a 2003 SS Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jester08 Posted September 14, 2006 Report Share Posted September 14, 2006 On a similar situation, the annoying knocking sound I was hearing was apparently caused by a carbon build up inside the cylinders above the pistons.
