Roody
Hi everyone. I'm curious about the Silverado SS. I currently own a 2005 Tahoe Z71, and am looking to either sell it or trade it for an AWD SSS. Any things to look out for or watch for would help me, and so would opinions on making the switch. Thanks.
Roody
Just for the record, I'm also considering the Avalanche. Just to put it out there.
04CHASE
well if your looking at both you need to ask yourself is 4 full size doors a need? what are your plans/uses of the truck? it all comes down to what you need / want out of it
Roody
I plan to use it for everyday driving, and hauling my ATV on the weekend. I will also use it to carry around my friends every once in a while. My main concern is carrying the ATV, though, because it will go in the bed, not on a trailer. onyx_ss
Hmm...i think the base price for a new one but i doubt fully loaded is 34.180....I wouldent really know how a used one would go for, all depending on how well modded one is. But Good luck with the that

KissMySilvSS
You might also want to check the width of your ATV because I am pretty sure a full size utility ATV will not fit in an Avalanche (like a 700 Sportsman, Grizzly, etc...the bigger ones). We ran into this with an Avalanche sale at our dealership.
Roody
It's a 2006 Yamaha Kodiak 450 4x4...I think the width is around 50 inches. I'm leaning towards the SSS more now...I doubt it will fit in the Avy.
KissMySilvSS
Get the SS with a rhino liner, you will be happier
Roody
Yeah...I'd rather have a SS, too. How bad will my insurance bill be, though, if I get a SSS? If it's really high, the SSS is a no-go.
