wkeil
Well I went to e-town yesterday. I orginally was running 15.0-14.9. After a pcm tune, 160-t-stat, and outlaw intake I ran a best 14.5 1/4 ET. Almost half a second. I think thats great. Now how do I get to 13 seconds. Any suggestions? dancar
Don't forget about a torque converter for a 2-5 tenths drop. That assumes your traction can handle it, If not throw some slicks on it. Also, get the heavy 20" wheels and tires off for another tenth or two. punkt71
Nice times man!! If you want to dip in the 13's with that setup, You need to add some long tube headers (Dynatech or Pacesetter for example) and full 3" exhaust. That should put you at 14.2-14.3 or so (with a retune) To get you in the 13's for sure, you will need a high stall torque converter (anything over 2600 stall) and a cam. Futral motorsports can hook you up with a good cam, or talk to Zippy, he has a cam that has been proven to make some major improvements. Make sure you retune after the headers/exhaust/cam though! You should be able to hit 13.8-13.9's easy after that.
