Dylan06SS Posted October 23, 2006 Report Share Posted October 23, 2006 Ok... so I find cams to be CONFUSING as hell and I know a good number fo you guys on here are pretty good at picking the right cam for the right application. Lets just say I was thinking of adding a cam to the TBSS... No plans for FI in the foreseeable future... Current mods are CAI, exhaust, and tune... Planning on adding headers... What would be a good cam for this application?? Would it be a good idea to get a blower cam now and run it until I decide to go that route?? Help a brotha out. SS_bnoon_SS Posted October 23, 2006 Report Share Posted October 23, 2006 A blower grind won't get you the most HP in NA form, but it will help keep the gas mileage up there a little better than an all out NA HP cam would... if forced induction is at all a possibility, I say go that route. Even a 224 may get a little questionable without GOOD tuning IMO. J4nash's cam will be awesome no doubt. Would love to hear the idle.
