Bonj87
ok 2003 SSS when cold, upon starting i can hear what i can only describe as some valve clatter..sounding kinda like a disel. now, engine still semi cold, accelerate from a stop, upon first shift, i can hear that clatter again. do i need to be concerned about this at all? is it something a tune can fix..should i start looking for some replacement parts? 04CHASE
could be piston slap, gm ls based truck engines are know for this, really isnt a problem just an annoyance. the 6.0s arent as common for this, its usually the 5.3's. Bonj87
is it something that can be fixed under warranty?
