montanass Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 as with everything else, when you buy name brand products, you get the name and quality. A good quality set of shorties will run you an upwards of $500. For that kind of money you would be better off getting a set of long tubes. I've got some Gibson Shorties, which i bought for a steal, and pretty much the only reason i bought them was to dress up my engine a bit. allballz57 Posted January 16, 2007 Report Share Posted January 16, 2007 I had a set of nickel chrome gibsons on my avalanche and I liked them, a little bit of steel wool and some elbow grease every once in a while kept them looking fine.
