silverss05
Are you running your dual 40's with or without an X-pipe?
2006_superado
Are you running your dual 40's with or without an X-pipe? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> no x-pipe just straight duels.. simply cut the stocker off installed the super 40's and duel side exit.. still trying to find a tip that will fit and that i like.. CrAzYMoPaRGuY
Most guys like the DeltaFlow over the original standard 40 series because of reduced interior resonance. I run 3 1/2" Delta 40s with an X pipe because I wanted LESS noise, I think both the Delta versions and the X pipe will hopefully lower the sounds inside and outside of the car. I never have been bothered by the interior resonance with standard 50 series Flowmasters, and I have ran them many a time, but always with tailpipes. silverss05
So if i am looking to get this set up on my truck would you say go with an X-pipe or no? What is the X-pipe actually doing to the sound? I am looking for a nice loud exhaust. I have one Super 40 now. What would you guys do?
