brobradh77
I am thinking of getting a tune from pcm4less but the only thing I have done to my truck is flows and a k&n filter so far. I know kinda sad but hey I am just starting here.. My question is would it be worth it to get a tune now or should I just save my money and wait so if I add something later on i.e. shift kit or something small like that I dont have to keep paying for a new tune. Thanks for the help.
pnblwzd
Yeah, it's worth doing. It will make what you've already done work even better, and is the same way I started down the dark path (K&N FIPK, Magnaflow muffler, PCM4less). Plus if you use Bryan, if you want him to change something later when you do more mods, he only charges a small fee to change the tune. If you are planning a shift kit in the future, and you have him turn up your trans line pressure for firmer shifts now, it will have to be turned back down when the kit is installed. shreveportSS
Tunes are definitly worth it. I recommend Wester's personally, but PCM4Less has a good following crowd.
AUTOGUY
Bryan at PCMforLess has tuned my truck 2 or 3 times already. I only have a CAI with Ram Air and an Exhaust. It is like a different truck with his tune!!

Kent's SS
Tunes are definitly worth it. I recommend Wester's personally, but PCM4Less has a good following crowd. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Doe's Wester's have a website? I am in the same boat here... few performance mods aside from the CAI. I just want to get the easy things out of the way first or the Mrs. will kill me for spending more on the truck than I do on her! I also want to get a separate PCM for my tune and keep the factory. Do others agree? Or is it no big deal to just send in the factory PCM and take the tuned one? I figured if I had the factory one I could re-install it later for warranty work or in case the tuned PCM doesn't work correctly. Anyone have any problems with their tuned PCM and needing to revert back? Sorry, just a little paranoid. I can't be without my truck!
