rsharpe13
I was thinking about purchasing my own copy of hp tuners to learn how to tune my truck. What do most of you guys have the regular version or the pro.

12secSS
This has been asked many times before, the guys from HPT have said that not at this time. Good luck though ... and yes, get the PRO version.

2006SilverSS
ok, so I have been looking at the HPTuners site and would like to eventually get the software. I have a feeling that I may be getting KR with the current tune from PCMforless (anyone in the San Jose, CA area with software?) . While looking at the hptuner site I was also wondering what the differences between pro and non-pro are since I can't seem to find anything on the site that tells what you get for $150 more. I don't plan on going FI (but you never know).

2006SilverSS
what i dont understand is the credit thing...how many credits do you get with the HP PRO software. and how many credits does it take to tune ONE vehicle......?and also how much money does it cost to get more credit? I was checking out the site last night and found somewhere that it's like $49 per credit (there are discounts with the more you purchase). From what I can tell, most single vehicles will use 2 credits.
