1 Fast SS
Two questions guys and gals. Is jet hot the only place you can buy the pacesetter LT's? If there's another place, can you let me know. What kind of gaskets are you getting with the Pacesetters. I've had JBA shorties before, and they came with aluminum 3 layered gaskets with them. Do you get these with Pacesetters?
04CHASE
got mine for around 400 shipped from speed engineering, the gaskets they give you are copper type and i would use them . i would use a stock gm gasket.

04CHASE
well they have collectors but no flanges, i recomendand the v band clamps they will cost a little extra but are very worth it, they seal great and they are easy/quick to take off, here is a pic of them
SoCalSS
These are non ceramic coated for like $300 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-05-Chevy...6QQcmdZViewItem Ceramic Coating: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-05-Chevy...94284QQtcZphoto Chase, how much do you think it would be to get these installed? I know there will need to be some modification to the Magnaflow exhaust to the collectors and Im figuring this can be done in a day after I get the truck back next month Edited December 20, 2006 by SoCalSS (see edit history)
04CHASE
i think i paid about 600-650 for mine , they provided all the flanges( v bands too) all the piping and they had to cut the headers down a bit for them to fit with the cats where i wanted. it came out prety nice though look here for pics http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...topic=26677&hl= i couldnt tell you what it woould cost exactly but like some say you get what you pay for , go to a good well known exhaust shop and they should be able to do it for decent price, there isnt to much involved in that. I got them quicker that they said it would take. I use the flowmaster ball flanges from summit racing to connect them to the rest of the exhaust. I'll need to take some pics if you want to see what they look like installed
SoCalSS
There is a place by my work that does a decent job, after getting quoted $225 by some douche bag company in Newport, I found a hole in the wall shop by my work and they did the complete install of an already welded catback magnaflow and took out the old stock exhaust so I could give it to DCairns since he gave me the Magnaflow complete for free. They did it for $50.00, and DCairns recommended the place, plus they were working on a new C6 when I was there which i had to wipe the drool off the side of my face I think with the gracious bonus from the boss I may pull the trigger on the pacesetters, E-Cutouts (probably the cheap butterfly valve) and the install I think will put me back about $1,000 with install and parts. After hearing what you paid Chase it seems like thats the ballpark I was looking for... Is it just me or do the cutouts open not sound that much different than a catback? Maybe its cause you had to keep the revs at a limit, was that pre-blown? Edited December 20, 2006 by SoCalSS (see edit history)

SoCalSS
Just bought the pacesetters online from byunspeed.com...Now gotta wait till the truck comes back from the body shop for the install...Should a re-tune through Brian at PCMforless since I have added the catback and to be LTs since the first tune be needed? This site has done nothing but make me spend more money...
