ShortBus
well, I bought an in expensive indoor r/c helicopter to fart around in the bike shop with since winter is coming and I'll be getting bored. I must say I'm hooked! I need to figure out the next step to get something a little more fun to fly but still have the ability to fly indoors. Anyone have any idea's? CoolBlueSS
There used to be a hobby shop by my old house, and there was a field behind them. He used to bring out model planes and helicopters on Saturdays and fly them. It was a blast to watch.
Black2003SS
Which one did you get? I've seen some for $180 or so online and on ebay and was thinking of getting one, but have heard horror stories about quality and replacement part avail. etc. I was told by some hobbiests that good ehli's start at $500 even for an electric one. Nitro powered ones are thousands for a good one and thats out of the Question. P.S. Did you crash it yet? I have seen those little trainer things you can get for the skids for ditched landings. ShortBus
i was hoping to spend a little less on something i will undoubtedly crash most o those kits are still in the 400-500 dollar range with all the gear necessary.
