jmaes21
Ok, I'm not a real wizard when it comes to electrical and I have a question. On my 05 SS the positive battery cable goes to a bracket which looks like a distribution block and then continues down to the starter. From the distribution block there is a fuseable link that looks like it goes to the back of the alternator. Can I run an 8 gage cable with a 40 amp fuse from this block to my 12V amp connection? If not where is a good place to connect?
fast4popper
you could do that, but go to your local car audio shop and buy a GM side post adaptor. less than 5 bucks and you will be on your way. easy to do and i would consider it "done right".
