Relocating exhaust tips

I have a flowmaster cat back with the dual rear exit.  I am thinking about putting it out the side in front of the rear passenger tire.  Just looking for suggestions.. :D

did you buy a whole cat back system? if so you wasted your money if you just want to modify it. you could have just bought a muffler and fabbed it up.

This is true unless you live in alaska where these a holes wanna charge you for who knows what. It woulda been cheaper for me to buy a cat back system but, i wanted a custom look and besides everybody thinks i have a magnaflow system....i need to change the tips... :D

Just do a search or look around there are a lot of trucks on this site with side exit,I think autoguy started that craze and the fever got me to.

First Two are with Original Rectangular Tips and the last one is with new double wall Magnaflow tips.

auto guy how many differnt exhaust setups have you had i remember back when i first joined you were talking about how you x piped it after you already had magnaflows on there

I had the stock one, then I had the stock pipes with a Magnaflow Dual in Single out Muffler, then I went to the one you see in these pictures. I added the X-pipe after these were taken. The only other thing I did was change the tips.

I"m thinking about doing two Flowmaster Super 40's, with both coming out on the passenger side in front of the rear wheel.

I'm gonna change it up a bit and not use any tips. I"m just going to have alumined pipe ran out the side with angle cuts pointing outwards (like a Nascar), then i'm going to paint them flat black for an old school look.

Hopefully i'll be having it done next Saturday.

BTW, does anyone on here know what the Flowmaster Super 40's sound like on our trucks or in general?
