misterp
what is a cache? He means Web Browser Cache (pronounced 'cash') - your internet software stores the pages that you have viewed in a dedicated folder on your hard drive, so when you want to hit the 'Back' button the web page you see the second (and later) times is read from your own computer rather than having to be downloaded again from the web server across the internet. There should be an option in your web browsing software to clear out your cache, in the Microsoft Internet Explorer product click on the Tools menu item, then Internet Options and under the General folder tab you will see buttons that allow you to dump your cache. misterp
Cleared my cache, but the adds are still there. Edit your host file and it should take care of it. Link to Post Thanks for mentioning this, I added *.googlesyndication.com to our firewall's blocked URL list CoolBlueSS - I had to delete the google javascript files from your cache manually In IE click Tools, Internet Options, General folder tab; in the Temporary Internet Files frame click the Settings... button, then in the Settings dialog window click the View Files... button to actually reveal the web browser cache - sort the list by Internet Address, then select and delete all files from pagead2.googlesyndication.com. dannyc_2006_SS
I did all that and I still see these damn ads! Do this, delete the files Mr.P mentioned above, then go to Internet Explorer's Tools section, click on Internet Options, open the security tab, select restricted sites, click the sites button, enter "*.googlesyndication.com" without the quotes and click the add button. I would recommend closing every Internet Explorer window you have open and then give it a try.

When viewing this forum I turn off JavaScript, it also works with the trailblazerss forum that has the horrible pop-ups when you try clicking on a forum topic.
