brobradh77
A PCM tune is better than a handheld programmer. You can get more out of a tune in helping get the most out of your mods no matter how few or many you may have.

Vortec MAX
A tune will really help. I noticed a HUGE difference after my tune. The truck had better response, spun the tires more easily, and had faster shifts between gears. As for service manuals, try www.helminc.com They produce the factory service manuals. I bought my 2006 manual there. I think I paid around 140 for a 4 volume set. Very nice manuals. Mike
