foxySS
It seems, especially in the last week that when I get on it real hard from a 5-20 mph my SC just whinds up harder than ever but my truck doesn't seem to be going hardly anywhere. (At least not the same as it used to be.) When I do this, it also seems to bog down into second more also. Not quite sure why it's doing this. Any suggestions? Bowtie70SS
Transmission slipping? Check the fluid. Only other thing is if you got some bad gas and the pcm reverted to the low octane timing table. Dave

Any suggestions? do you have a boost guage on it? is the boost higher or lower now? lower =possible belt slip or knock higher = plugged cats same =trans that would be my guess
foxySS
No boost gauge, trans seems to be shifting really good still since I basically had it rebuilt (in November) after my TB TC blew up. I was thinking one possibility is I haven't cleaned the air filter in quite a while and maybe it's starving a little for air. On a side note, I park in the garage and there is a ton of black sooty droplets that are being spit out the tailpipes (as evidenced by the wall behind my truck.) This has been happening probably since last summer though. I know that sounds like rich but it sure doesn't smell like it's running very rich. I gotta find a nice day here soon (those have been hard to come by lately) once I get my headers installed to run some logs and see what exactly is going on with this thing. montanass
My guess would be the cats are a little stopped up. My last truck acted similar, it would run fine, but was not putting as much power to the ground as usual. I got pissed one time and decided to try to blow up the engine (it was basically toast after 146k anyways) so i held 'er to the floor and then a big puff of black smoke and it was like it let loose. I later found out that my cat was plugged, so i had a new one installed piece of cake.
foxySS
Yeah, it's wierd, drove it again tonight and it seemed to go really well. It seems this just happens part time- usually like when I'm getting on the freeway. Well, if it is the cats they're getting replaced soon when I do the headers anyways. .justin.
Have any logs that show this in action? If not, get some and post em up.

I plan on getting the ASM's that I bought a few months ago installed ASAP. Then I was planning on having you help me out with the tuning stuff again. I also got a new GT2-3, but I'm not sure how soon that will be going in.
