Any help would be great, Thanks Frank, i think, is the closest for a face to face tune. Otherwise, email Frank, Zippy, or pcmforless for a mail order tune. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.php?showuser=6980 Frank http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.php?showuser=735 Zippy Brad

shadowsniper3006
there are a couple of places around here that do tuning. There is an AWD dyno in racine with a tuner....kind of, i'm working with zippy right now to clean up one of his "tunes". There is a 2 wheel drive dyno by my house in west bend(i'll be dynoing there wednesday) and they have an ls1 tuner, but i'm not familiar with his work yet. Another option would be zippy sending me a tune for you and i can load it for you/him with hpt. we can load it on the dyno at my house so you can see the before and after, or we can load it at the track so can see the before and after. Or you can pull the pcm from your truck and ship it to zippy, or you can pull the pcm and ship it to Frank, or you can pull the pcm and ship it to who ever, but your truck will be down for a week otherwise....holy old post, i was slow back then...well slower. Thanks for the reply ShadowSniper3006! Where are Frank and Zippy located? I was under the impression they were located in WI by this post. My truck is a daily drive so I can't afford to have it down for a week.... I would be interested in having a tune sent to you from either Zippy or Frank and have you install it. What do you charge and what do Frank or Zippy charge? Thanks!
shadowsniper3006
Frank is in Vegas Zippy is in Arizona I can only load a zippy tune, he is close personal friend of mine so he trusts me loading his tunes for others. If this is something you want to do, I'd have to check what credit cost is for the 09's and double check with zippy on his email tune price. I can probably get you a price tonight. Then a price from Zippy and a price from you for the install would be great. That will tell me if I can afford to do the tune!! What does credit cost mean, if you don't mind me asking? Do you have a website for your business? Is it westbenddyno.com? Thanks again for your help and replies! R0b

Thanks again for your help and replies! R0b I am not a tuner in any form of the word. I work on my truck and my friends truck in only the areas that i have been taught how to(zippy does the hard part). So because i have the abilty to load tunes, and am on good terms with zippy, i will load his tunes for him/you just as a means for getting a zippy tune to you. I'm not part of the west bend dyno team, just spend a lot of money on dyno time there. Basically, i'm just a guy on the forum willing to help out because i'm in your area. The credit cost is what it will cost me to be able to hook into your trucks computer and tune your VIN number. Basically i have to buy the rights to tune your VIN with the HP tuners software. The 03 credits are like $48 a piece, and it takes 2 credits to load a tune into a truck. Some of the newer car/trucks cost more so i'll have to make sure. Because i can then update your truck at anytime with out having to buy credits again, i can be your source to get updates from zippy as you modify.
