—Bauker™—
Not sure if anyone wants one pre-programmed... Programmed by PCM4LESS. I ran it on a 6.0 with intake, exhaust, one step colder plugs, 160 tstat and 150shot nitrous. Put down 440rwhp and 585rwtq. Make me an offer. jon1178
correct me if i am wrong but i dont think it matters if it has a custom tune or not because it would have to be retuned because of the vin number being different or something. I'm not sure... I thought you could just to the ignition reset process....
montanass
it does not need to be re tuned for vin#. However i would recommend retuning if a guy weren't running the same mods. I purchased my pcm used, it had a tune on it from another 03 SSS and i havent had any problems in the 8 months that i've been using it. RevolutionRaceWorks
It's best off used as a core. I wouldn't recomend sticking your tune in anyone else's truck, everyone tunes diffrently and they react diffrently besides the fact the vin won't match right off and you might have issues with relearn. What do you need out of it as a core I like keeping a spare one around.
OneBadSSS
Does it matter if the model years and drivetrains don't match (i.e. 2006 vs. MY 2005 and 2WD vs. MY AWD)?? If not, I'm interested...
RevolutionRaceWorks
What matters is the computer service number. Only certain years are compatable.
Jim Coher
I know for sure that an 04 PCM is a different part number than an 03 PCM. They are not interchangable. I don't know about 04 and up. I believe GM changed some of the programing in 04.
