04CHASE
they ar enot that fast, a stcok ss would beat one easily. they run 15.7-16.0 in the 1/4 mile
JuicedSS4U
I THINK THAT IS BULLS... CAUSE I TOOK AN INFINITY FX35 WHICH IS THE SAME SUV BY LIKE 3 1/2 TRUCKS.....WITHOUT SPRAY...
shreveportSS
I have a buddy with one and they are slow. Can't tow chit with em either. I think they have rubber band drive.
Black2003SS
But!!!! They have the nissan 350z motor detuned. You can retro fit any twin turbo/stillen supercharger onto the murano...so I wouldnt doubt you can make them fast, but they are not like that off the showroom floor. Black2003SS
And after watching the second video...did anyone happen to notice it was in km/h, not mph? So no...its not really as fast as the speedo shows. And I didnt hear any blower or turbo myself...so I would really question it alot...how do we know the drag video is even really a murano? ssr-sss
My sister has one. I know they are not that fast.
nxtnlne
I had a moreno for 16 days then return it when I got my truck out of the shop. Trucks back in and I have another one with 600 miles on it. I was tripping on the tranny also when I first drove it, 6400 rpm all the way till 120 then I let off. If you peg it and ease up off the throttle it will shift then you can get into it. Holding the rpm's up like it does definitly gives it an edge. Also the stall is pretty high on it .I was having fun with it last night (awd) in the dirt.
StealthSS
Muranos are fun, but Infiniti FX45s are more fun, I think V8 and awd, they defintely hook up.
Dylan06SS
I eat Muranos and FXs for breakfast, lunch, and dinner... the TBSS just loves pickin on em I haven't run into one that fast yet, but if its based on the same engine as the Z then I guess theres potential for them to be pretty quick with some mods. Black2003SS
Its the same 3.5L 24V DOHC engine as the 350Z, just detuned, lower compression, dif cam phasing, etc. You can run 87 octane in it instead of 92.
montanass
motor trend says the Murano has a 0 speed continuously variable transmission with a 5.173:1 rear axle ratio. There's some pretty cool technology in them but the are super ugly...
