BlackSS04 Posted February 11, 2007 Report Share Posted February 11, 2007 (edited) put on your reading glasses because this might be a little long. well, last night i was very active in the streets. i had alot of my friends parties to go to, so i tried to get to as many of them as i could. i was tempted to drink at them but i knew i would be driving quite a bit and was going to get into some confrontations, so i stuck it out sober. the F-150's were being testy in the late hours and i wasn't about to let them get away with anything. the first one had chrome all over his black truck,(rims,door handles,chrome stickers,grill,ect..) which was overkill as hell. we paced each other at 30 for a while and i was jumping up and falling back quite a bit, antagonizing him to go. so finally he gave in and from a 30 roll, i hear him hit it and i do the same and pull hard untill 80 were i shut down with about a truck & a half or two on him. he turned at the next light and i didn't get to talk shit to him. 1st Kill succesfull. next F-150 i caught at a light with no one around. i was estatic about that. i pulled up and he had his windows down and he said very nice truck and i said the same.( i was just being nice, his truck looked like something i dropped in the toliet after a long night of drinking. ) he was the first to ask me if i wanted to race and i accepted quickly. so the light turns green and we both get a even start, my awd pulls out of the hole like usuall with about a truck on him at 60. we go untill 90 were we had to shut down because of a light but he was pulling slowly. i had about a half truck or less on him at 90. at the light he congratulated me on the win, and he asked what i had. i told him and he said it was a good win with my mods because he had a CAI, catback exhaust, and superchips tune. he said he was hopeing i was stock and i told him i would of took him anyways with a smile on my face. that got him pretty mad and he wanted to go one more time. the same results this time but i shut down at 60 due to traffic with a little less then a truck on him. he waved and screamed "maybe i'll get ya next time" out the window at me, and then turned at the light. nice guy though, but underestimated the SSS. he also had his girl with him in the truck so that just added to his embarrassment. great night for me and my chevy and i couldn't be more proud of it considering the mods that i have. i had some kill stories to tell to my friends when i arrived at the parties. i was lovin it. I know you don't have a tune yet (that will make a BIG difference), but I always thought of the F150's as so slow they weren't worth the gas I'd burn. I guess I'll have to try a few of those. The only Ford I have embarrassed (I'd say raced, but it wasn't much of one) was an F250 Powerstroke. From a dig, I put 5 truck lengths on that guy before I shifted to second. I don't think he was modded, as those can be fairly quick. Good kills. Same here, I always used to see new F150 4x4's running 16's and shit at the track. I destroyed my buddies 99 F150 4.6 reg cab flareside 2wd w/ 3:55's. Thats when I first got this truck in July (stock) and he had a K&N FIPK and flowmasters. It was a good looking truck (maroonish red), but only good for killing rice from a dig.
