help asap please new radio and speakers

Recommended Posts

ok the quick story, just installed new alpine 9857, and alpines all aorund , components in front coax 4x6 in back, phoenix gold 6 ch amp and jl stealth box under seat. great but nothing worked when i powered it up...i ran the speaker lines from back of radio , into harness that i purcahsed and used stock line to radio( the loop trick) then back to amp but got no sound out of the speakers just the sub...is this because of the bose amp? if so where is it located and how do i bypass without running seperate speaker lines from the amp top each door, which would suck. also can it be bypassed without any adaptor? are there any known issues with the way i am doing this? please help need to finish job by tomorrow.

the only way to bypass this amp is to run new leads to the doors. OR you can try to find the factory wires out of the bose amp which is located under the center console toward the rear of it. kinda a bitch to get out. if you pull straight up on your cup holder you will see the inputs for the amp. the outs are on the backside behind the rear cup holder that flips down.

hope this helps and good luck! imo it would be easier to run new leads and then there is no guessing games as for wire colors. these door boots are really easy to run leads into.

its actually pretty easy to figure out the wire colors and go from the amp.... like earlier satated there is plug in the cup holder.... but these trucks are super easy to go into the door as fast4popper said
