misterp
Hi all - I bought a pair of speed bleeders that I no longer need and rather than go through the hassle of returning to Summit Racing I decided to put them up for a SSS member kharma drawing. These ones are Earl's Solo-Bleed 10mm x 1.5 (coarse thread) x 27mm and will work on stock & Baer Alumasport/PBR calipers (not the 6S calipers as I discovered) - here's a link to the item in the Summit Racing catalog. If you are interested please put a post here and I will randomly draw a winner next Thursday at noon (Feb 22, 2007) and send them to you in the mail. What are speed bleeders? They are bleed screws for your brake calipers that have a spring-loaded valve allowing fluid/air to bleed out but won't allow anything to be sucked back in to the caliper. Saying these little gems are a godsend is an understatement; these should be sold as marital aids because you won't ever again have to yell at your wife for the 50th time "I said pump 3-times and hold it..." And the best part is that because of the little one-way valve you will get the best possible bleed job in only a few seconds. Mr. P.

Porno Joe
I had a set of those on one of my old trucks and they are a gift from god if you are doing brake work alone.
