I took it apart to try to snap it back on tightly, but it it didtn go on as tight as i'd like. but when the dealer asks me.. thats the way it was when i bought it... but the mirror just stopped working

JF-03-SS
Yes. GMPartsdirect.com calls it a mirror kit. Call a GM dealer w/ that # and they will verify. Would like to know what they give you for a price too.

JF-03-SS
I would call GM customer service and ask them about covering or not covering it. I had a problem w/ the dealership that I bought my truck from and GM customer service Extanded my warrany 3yrs?36k.
