Z4pp
What kind of Hp would an awd 04 SS put down stock with those parts?
CHEVY6000VHO
What kind of Hp would an awd 04 SS put down stock with those parts? With a good tune and that cam, you should see 70-90 more hp. The 115lsa will give it a great idle and it's also great for a Radix or FI upgrade later. You could always call one of the sponsored tuners here and ask them what they think as well. Let me know something. Jim
brobradh77
I am not a wrencher so help me out. That package is everything I need for my 06 SSS to make that cam work? CHEVY6000VHO
I am not a wrencher so help me out. That package is everything I need for my 06 SSS to make that cam work? Yes sir! My 05' has the LQ9 6.0L as you do. It was specifically for our engines. Like said before, it also has the ability to support a blower if you decide to upgrade. The 115 lsa will make it a great everyday driver without the issues of idling problems. If you stayed NA, then a 2800-3200 stall would really make your SS fly with that cam. That too would still allow a dependable daily driver or a weekend terror. I assume if your not a wrencher then you would be paying someone to install this. I highly recommend it if that is your case. You will of course need a custom tuner to tune for this cam to get the best results and dependability. Let me know what you think. brobradh77
I jsut had a Yank TT2600 installed and am looking at a Pro Charger set up in the near future. I use PCM4Less as my tuner and am wondering on something like a cam how good he can dial it in with out being here. My mechaninc has tuning softwar so I was wondering if he can tune this set up for me because I am really thinking about this idea for some good power. Any idea on what I looking at for cost on an install? Where can I locate this cam on the web so I can check out specs? Thanks Edited February 17, 2007 by brobradh77 (see edit history)

Where can I locate this cam on the web so I can check out specs? Thanks You will not find the exact specs on the web, as this was a custom grind from Comp cams. It's close to many grinds, but it would actually work perfect for your application due to it being designed for the exact same things I had planned. That 2600 stall was the same one I was going to use as well. It was also ground for a blower application as well. The specs are exactly what I posted. 224/224/.581/.581/ 115lsa . It's new still in the Comp cam box with cam card. All other parts are new in their unopened boxes as well. That particular cam and my Radix application has been producing 500-525 RWHP/RWTQ. That's equivelant to around 650+ hp/tq at the fly. The only other thing my application consisted of was a meth kit and a 3.0" pulley for the Radix. Allen Nelson has been using this cam for the Radix'ed 6.0L trucks with great results. He's the one that designed the cam profile for Comp cams to grind it to. I also specifically told him that I wanted it to be street friendly for everyday driving as well. He said it would work perfectly. Your Procharger set-up will of course produce a bit more power than the Radix, so it would work great for your application. Jim how about 450.00 for the package. Not considering $450 as of right now. My posted $500.00 is cheaper than anyone else already. Cheaper by $100+. I hope you can understand. There are quite a few guys wanting to talk with their tuners about the cam, so the first to say I want it gets it. Money order is actually what I'd rather receive. So your fine with that. Let me know something. Jim
