if you use PAM cooking spray it will wash off really easy..........not even a joke, people that have silver or any light colered paint that get rubber on the paint have used PAM and it will not affect the finish, and it is easy clean up.....no pun!

my dad even used it on his 70 chevelle, so i have proof it works

:withstupid:

That's what I use. I just wipe some on before I go to the track and wash it off when I get home. Goo Gone will work though if it is already stuck on the truck.

cool tip... but i have a Q, doe's it have to be pam, i'm assuming any cooking spray will work?.

also my truck is white, so i'm assuming it won't hurt the paint, but what about dark colors?.

tia guys

I think any cooking spray will work, but I've never tried anything else. It has never hurt my paint so I assume that it shouldn't hurt on any color as long you don't leave it on for an extended period of time. Just to be safe though, if you try another cooking spray or your vehicle is a dark color, I would try spraying it on an inconspicuous area first (Like inside the wheel well) and make sure no harm is done.
