As I am sitting here watching the pre-race. I finally worked up enough nerve to post this. I have been hearing rumors about the Toyota and Caterpiller getting together for the full size tundra. I have been wondering this all week. Cat is backing the toyota race team. I for one think that they could really give the big 3 a run for there money with that addition. Now I will crawl back into my bunker and wait for the fury to unload...........I did hear an intresting fact though that the Toyota is the only car in todays race that is made in america..... :driving:

when i heard that the Toyota was the only car made in America in that series i couldn't believe it. they had allot in the pre-race about Toyota coming in and they defiantly were laying down hints for people not to bash toyota's...but i will defiantly never watch nascar again if Honda joins the chase..lol!!!

Toyotas are assembled here, but I don't think all of the parts are made here. :puke:

As far as the Cat/Toyota deal goes, it's only a sponsorship thing---That car was a Dodge last year and a Pontiac a few years before that.

Toyota in NASCAR = :icon_bs::nono:

Anything is possible. I'm sure Toyota wants a piece of the diesel market, in fact I just heard today from an unconfirmed source that --------Nissan should be marketing a 6cyl diesel in the Titan pretty soon which is supposed to be very competitve with the powerstrokes :dunno: anyone else heard this or am I behind the eight ball as usual?
