1 Fast SS
I'm gonna be going to run my truck at LVMS this Friday and need to get some traction. I spin the wheels to much now that I have put my LT's on and my tune. My buddy has some 18" or 17" wheels with some 305 tires on them. I was wondering if I could use these so I can get some more traction. Will this affect my wheel speed sensors, and if so, will it slow me down? 04CHASE
You need to find out the od of tires. i run 305/45/18 nitto 555r's(28.8 od) at the track and some times on the street and they dont set of the sensors but then again i always change my tire size with hp tuners and i think if i remeber if you dont change via programming it may set the sensors. but even when i do change my tires size with some smaller 26 inch tires it would set the sensors and the abs/e brake lights would come on and make all kinds of racket. it doesent put in reduced power but it is annoying , you can turn you truck off and then back on to clear them.
