debo4x4
I have been trying to make the choice of what to install and finally decided to go with true duel Magnaflows on my 06 V-Max. I really only wanted to get 1 muffler w/duels out the back but the guy at the shop said I would get better sound and performance out of true duels. They are the mid size Magnaflows. It sounds great! A little louder than I really wanted but I'll live with it. Sounds much different than my 5.3 w/a 40 series Flowmaster, not quite as loud and raspy and a much deeper tone. Only complaint is I have a BAD in cab resonating drone between 1500-2000 rpm. It almost hurts my ears is so deep and pulsating. Any ideas how to get rid of this? I did not get an x-pipe or any type of cross-over between the pipes. The guy at the muffler shop said I didn't need them. I have always been under the impression you need something like that to balance out the system? Anyone else have this problem. Thoughts? Thanks! jaymoney
I think that a x pipe will quite it down a bit. I have a dual in-out magnaflow with long tubes and highflow cats and it is pretty quite until you get on it a little.
