cyriusmuscle
Just got done giving my truck a sea foam treatment since alot of people on here give it so much praise. I let it suck down about half a bottle thru the pcv valve then let it sit for about 2 hrs and then let it warm up and took it for a drive. Thing i noticed was i didn't get any smoke or nasty smell like everyone else i read. Didn't know if this was normal or not.
misterp
Several others have made the same comment; our assumption was that their engines weren't as carbon fouled as the rest of us, but that was just an assumption. Badkarma
Maybe it sat to long and evaporated? The most I have ever let it sit in my 72 camaro was 30 minutes, then i fogged up the whole street running her. 2 hours just seems like alot of time to leave that stuff sit Edited February 19, 2007 by Badkarma (see edit history)

Krambo
I had minimal smoke as well. I did it to my minivan and had the same results. I did it to my beater car and it was like I was fogging for bugs! I suspect that my engine wasn't as bad as my beater. I warm it up to operating temp, send 1/2 bottle through the PCV and let it sit for 15 minutes. Start her up, take her for a drive and then change the plugs.
