RacerJJ
Has anyone done this? I took a look under the seat and it looks like a confuisng nightmare! All the wires and otherwise scared me away in a hurry. Any ideas would be appreciated. TIA...
fordsareslow
I did it when I put the bucket seats in my truck. It really isn't that bad. The wiring harness should only have two main connection points if I remember correctly. Unplug those wires and remove the 4 odd shaped nuts that bolt the seat down and your set. I'll try to see if I can find some pictures. You should be able to do it in about 15 minutes or less.
04silveradoclone07ss
unless you have a code reader remove the fuse for the air bags first. if you unplug it the airbag light will come on maybe. at least i know it does on police cars. drako
So I guess a safe bet is to unplug the negative to your battery?
gixxerrider
Are you removing it to light up the truck for the track?

Also we have tow hooks! WTF?! they are behind the front bumper. Dunno if you have already covered these bases already. Oh and start running too. I have been trying to do that
smit
If you haven't done so already, dump the windshield fluid out of your reservoir. That's 8 lbs. if full. Hey , every lb counts.
