Bonj87 Posted March 1, 2007 Report Share Posted March 1, 2007 i have an HK avr235.. sweet reciever, but it keeps going into protect mode. i thought it may be the audio source, but i switched that, and same problem i thought it may be the speaker wire, so I switched that, and same problem i thought it may be a speaker or two with a short, but then i watched 2 movies in DTS, and it never shut off.. over 4.5 hours i put it back on my direct tv reciever, dolby digital , or dolby v5 wide, and after 30 minutes it shut off. anyone on here capable of repairing whatever is wrong with this unit? Holty Posted March 1, 2007 Report Share Posted March 1, 2007 hey man, i can't help you with your problem but just wanted to say i have the HK AVR635 unit for a couple years now with no problems. i know these recievers are expensive as hell so i would call harmon they can recommend a authorized service center.
