04SiLvSS Posted March 5, 2007 Report Share Posted March 5, 2007 I finaly got the money to put my system from my old truck into my 04 Silverado SS. I have a 10w7 powered by a JL 500/1. JL XR650-CSI componets powered by a JL 300/2. And i just purchased a Alpine IVA-D310 7" touchscreen dvd/cd head unit. Im already back in love with the obvious awesome sound quality that JL gives. I will have to put up pictures soon. Waiting for the Spring though since the winter vlows when you live in Massachusetts. 04SiLvSS Posted March 12, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 12, 2007 I Have the same box that was in my old silverado...the only shitty thing is their is no clearance under the seat to put the w7 since it needs 8.5 inches under the seat so im short a lil more than an inch for the clearance. I ended up just putting it on the back seat. No complaints by me, it may look a lil funny but it sounds awesome.
