misterp Posted March 6, 2007 Report Share Posted March 6, 2007 I got the local dealer to goodwill my front axle, I took it in at 17K-miles with a differential whine complaint and was told at that time it was the power steering pump (yeah whatever). Well with the tranny R&R I saw that the front diff is leaking fluid out the pinion seal, so I went to the dealer with my old repair order and asked the service manager if they would take another look at it and 'yup no problem have the truck here next week'.
